SHSU General Houston Red

This wine has a deep ruby-red hue with a bright red rim. Aged in French Oak, the Wildseed Vineyards Tempranillo features lively characters of raspberry, cherry, baking spices, subtle vanilla, strawberry parfait, and sweet red pepper on the nose. Fruit-forward, intense flavors of red current, rhubarb, raspberry, and sweet tobacco linger on the palate. Smooth, soft tannins and hints of vanilla and cedar contribute to a long and elegant finish. Tempranillo is very complex with layers of flavors from start to finish. The Hill Country terroir is showcased in this exceptional wine.
