Wildseed Farms newest introduction: Our soon to be famous Zinnia Collection. Zinnias are an excellent species to plant in late spring, usually providing mid summer color until first frost. Listed below are the 10 species of Zinnias, or if you like you can order our Zinnia Collection. Please plant zinnias in early spring when all danger of frost has passed. 

Zinnias Annuals

 Sow in early spring when all danger of frost has passed. Sequential plantings every 2-4 weeks will provide continuous color and bouquets. Prefers well-drained soil in full sun. To reduce diseases, plant in areas that have good air circulation. Optimum pH 6.0 to 6.5. Apply fertilizer at 1.5 to 2 lbs of actual nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft. 10-10-10. Harvest bouquets in early morning or late afternoon hours. Collect flowers that are completely open. Remove leaves below water line. Zinnias have a vase life of 5-7 days.

FYI: Overhead watering is not recommended. Harvest flowers regularly to encourage more blooms.
